About Us

Bunbeg House was originally built as a corn mill in 1840. In the 1970's it was converted into a charming guesthouse. Since then it has been continually extended and refurbished all rooms are ensuite.

Bunbeg House Andrew and Jean Carr, the proprietors, take great personal pleasure in the scenic location of their premises.

It overlooks a beautiful little harbour at the mouth of the salmon rich Clady River.

Friendly and intimate, Bunbeg House will delight you with its standard of excellence.

Relax and enjoy the unspoilt beauty of this unique harbour.

Here on the magnificent Donegal Coast in the heart of the Gaeltacht you can unwind, walking the beautiful sandy beaches and mountains, go fishing, golfing or just take a leisurely boat trip to the nearby Islands. Your time is your own...

Whether you come on your own, as a couple or family, or in a group, a Donegal fáilte awaits you.

"Tá Céad míle fáilte romhait"

The peaceful atmosphere enhanced by excellent cuisine makes Bunbeg House a most relaxing destination - an ideal base to tour the North West.

Whether you come on your own, as a couple or family, or in a group - a Donegal fàilte (welcome) awaits you,

Sincerely,

Andrew and Jean Carr
